WiFi Network Dowsing Rod

March 29, 2009 by moto · Leave a Comment

There are free WiFi hotspots appearing throughout cities. Local coffee shops have them, shopping malls have them and so do many city hospitals. With today’s mobile community, hotspots are a necessity.

The question is how to find them? Mobile devices easily detect wireless networks but if you’re looking to garner some attention and don’t mind looking like the local madman, you can use the WiFi Network Dowsing Rod.

The Y-shaped gadget works along the same premise as the divining rod that was used to find water. It’s unique, that’s for sure, but we can’t see this product having a large market if it ever was to be mass produced.
