The magical solution comes yet again from Japan.
These gadget saviors have come up with a device that blows dry any mobile that’s been drowned.
Presumably, this should work with any type of gadget as long as you’re quick enough in taking the battery off before any circuit damage can be done!

EEE Keyboard Out in October?

August 28, 2009 by moto · Leave a Comment

The tech world has been terribly excited about the new Asus Eee Keyboard PC since the first pictures of it started to leak out several months back. Since then, we’ve had delay after delay, primarily due to the fact that Asus isn’t quite sure how to market this peculiar machine. The Eee Keyboard is a full-sized keyboard with a 5” touchscreen where the numpad would normally be. Inside the keyboard is an Atom 270 processor and a 32 GB SSD.

If you’re anything like me, the Eee Keyboard sounds like pretty much the best thing ever. It has HDMI-out, which means you’ll be able to store video on this thing, and transfer it over to whatever TV you happen to be in front of at the time without much hassle. I could see this keyboard replacing a lot of media boxes in the near future. And I do mean near; Digitimes reports that this hot little gadget “should” be ready as early as October.

For price they expect $400-500 US. The specs have been confirmed as well; a 1.6 Ghz Atom processor, 1 GB of Ram, 16/32 GB SSDs, WiFi, and a wireless HDMI dongle. If you aren’t squealing with glee right now, you don’t have the right to call yourself a gadget nerd.

We’ve come a long way since the 5GB iPod. Today, you can find pocket-size video players, MP3 players with tiny flash drives offering up to 32GB capacities, even digital audio players built into sunglasses. But one of the most advanced features you can find in today’s MP3 players is wireless capability. This is generally split into two categories: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is the subject here, and the devices that incorporate it represent the cutting edge in MP3 players.

WiFi Network Dowsing Rod

March 29, 2009 by moto · Leave a Comment

There are free WiFi hotspots appearing throughout cities. Local coffee shops have them, shopping malls have them and so do many city hospitals. With today’s mobile community, hotspots are a necessity.

The question is how to find them? Mobile devices easily detect wireless networks but if you’re looking to garner some attention and don’t mind looking like the local madman, you can use the WiFi Network Dowsing Rod.

The Y-shaped gadget works along the same premise as the divining rod that was used to find water. It’s unique, that’s for sure, but we can’t see this product having a large market if it ever was to be mass produced.
